Who should attend?

Certified MWBEs. If you are a New York State or New York City certified Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise, you should plan to attend.

Executives and Professionals. If you decision makers and professionals are active in the construction industry, architecture and engineering, financial, legal and professional services, plan on attending this conference to meet leading MWBE firms with whom you can engage.

The NEW YORK STATE MWBE Forum is a unique opportunity to attend information sessions, meet colleagues and increase the potential of meeting decision makers from both the public and private sectors.  Last year, more than 200 public sector officials attended and decision makers from over 300 different companies participated in our Speed Networking sessions and the EXPO.

Can I register for just one day of the MWBE Forum?

No. Registration applies to the full two-day conference whether or not you decide to attend both days.

 

What are the registration fees?

  • General attendee registration: $350 (Registration after October 6, 2011: $420)
  • Government attendee registration: $150

When is early registration over?

Are there separate conferences for different categories of professionals (i.e. construction professionals versus financial and professional services professions)?

No. This year, the MWBE Forum brings together all MWBEs to participate in a unique experience customized for business owners’ specific needs.  You will be able to attend general sessions designed for all MWBEs and you will be able to select from various sessions tailored to your specific business areas.
